The attachment is an article I wrote for the Florida Sheriff's Associations November All Points Bulletin which is distributed to 67 Sheriff's Offices in Florida. FSA's 80,000 plus members also have access to the publication by mail or web access. The purpose is to show common interest between fleet personnel and LEOs and to demonstrate how slower, safer driving during routine non-emergency usage can free-up funds which could be then be applied to increased upfitting, leading to improved officer protection and safety. Seat Belt usage, unnecessary speeding, and excessive braking is targeted. Information is also related to Below 100 tenets and 21st Century Policing Tenets. I welcome your feedback.
