I'm Nick Porrini and In 1984 I founded Technologue, Inc., which was the heart of the $160 billion Automotive Aftermarket Parts industry. Among a list of accomplishments were developing the Industry’s most comprehensive “All Parts” database, along with “eCommerce Standards” that are used throughout North America and became part of a Global Standard.
In 2006 Technologue was given one of the nation’s highest honors for a company, the Five Star Award, by the Dept. of Defense and then in 2007 I was given the Automotive Aftermarket industry's prestigious “Visionary Award”.
I sold Technologue to the Hearst Corporation and with a passion for baseball, I formed Digital All-Star, LLC and began a second career in the field of Computer Graphic Imagery and Video Production. Among our clients were; Major League Baseball, the Tampa Bay Rays, Collegiate Images, Chevrolet, Sports Broadcasting Camps of America and the Boys and Girls Clubs.
I've been blessed to start other companies and meet so many great people along this journey which brings me to today. Several months ago I reached out to old friends at executive levels from my automotive days to start Connex2X. In a nutshell, we want to work with fleet operators, helping them retrofit their existing vehicles to V2X technology, in order to share in the many benefits of this exciting and emerging landscape.
