Fleet professional with extensive experience in managing vehicular and heavy-equipment assets, particularly in service sector and utilities operations. I currently manage a 3450 unit asset fleet for the City of Kansas City, MO, utilized in delivery of Water, Parks, Public Works, Refuse/Recycling (and other smaller groups) municipal services.
KC Fleet Services is responsible for budget, acquisition, maintenance, repair, fueling and alt-fuel initiatives for this asset base, with a staff of approximately 60-techs and 14-admin working in 4-garage locations. We operate on an internal service fund model.
Kansas City proper is comprised of approximately 320 sq/mi with 500,000 residents.
